Licenses

JUMP NOW! 1800 557 101

Welcome to "License Requirements & Benefits", or "What? There's still more to this Skydiving thing?"

The first step in your Skydiving career is to obtain your 'A' License. This qualifies you to pack and use your own parachute (more commonly called 'rig'), and is the next step to having even more fun as you build on your existing skills. Of course, once you're using your own equipment, jump prices drop dramatically because you are no longer paying for rig hire or instruction. Jump prices then generally range from between $30 and $40 per jump. As you progress in your Skydiving career, you train for the next level of license which has certain requirements and benefits. The table below briefly details the requirements and benefits for each license (the table is intended only as a guide and not a substitute to the published APF Operational Regulations - contact the APF to obtain an official copy of the Operational Regulations booklet):

Hi
Just wanted to thank you again for the amazing skydive on Saturday. I am definitely still buzzing and have had a permanent grin on my face since then! I still can't believe I did it!
You are all wonderful - especially for putting up with the crowd of spectators!
Thanks again
Sophie

To Australian Skydive,
The past few months have been the best moments of my life - because you have helped me to jump out of a plane 15 times!!! Skydiving at Bridgewater is by far the most exhilarating experience I've ever had.
Your crew are the coolest people in the world - I feel so lucky they that are passing their exceptional skills onto me. I can't wait to jump again - this is all I ever think about now. Geez - I'm addicted!! For the people who haven't tried skydiving yet, you are really missing out!
Come along and share the excitement with us ;-)

Hi Sharyn,
Just to let you know Caitlin had a fantastic time yesterday doing her first ever skydive. All the staff etc were terrific & have a great sense of humour.
Clint was so glad she landed safely & of course enjoyed herself .
 Kind regards,
Viv Hawes

On behalf of the Surfmoot Committee (which is part of Scouts
Australia) I would like to thank Australian Skydive for all the help that they provided me with organising 14 rover scouts to go skydiving over the Australia Day weekend.  They provided me with excellent service and helped me in any way that they could to make organising this group of people as smooth as possible.  They had very friendly and professional staff that kept us entertained during our stay which made us feel very welcome to be there.  So please pass on our thanks and appreciation to everyone at Australian Skydive and we hope that we can bring back another group of Rover scouts in the very near future.

On behalf of Diabetes Camps Victoria, I would like to say a very kind thank you for your donation to our charity auction.  It is because of the kindness that companies like yours show that we are able to run four camps each year for 200 young people with diabetes.

Meaghan Read - Camp Director
